Sharla Kay Mikulas was born on October 6, 1958, in El Campo, Texas, one of three children to George and LaDonna (Osbon) Moers.  She entered into rest on August 4, 2024, in Sidney, Ohio, at the age of 65.  Sharla moved to the Neosho area in 1993, from Texas.  She was a homemaker and also worked at AT and T until her retirement in 2021.  She enjoyed gardening and shopping and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Neosho.  On May 6, 1983, in Houston, Texas, Sharla and James Mikulas were united in marriage and James survives.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Kirk Brewer and wife, Lori of Neosho, Krista Green of Neosho and Amanda Mikulas of South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Dustin Schooler, Chelsy Mix, Devon Green, Camden Lazure, Lucas Lazure, Adelyn Brewer, Owen Watkins, Liam Watkins and Ali Mikulas; two brothers, George Moers of Austin, Texas and Ronald Moers of Katy, Texas, and numerous other family and friend who will miss her greatly.  Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 5 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. James Schnackenberg will officiate.
