Sharon Lee Turner, age 76, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 29, 1947, in Racine, Missouri, the oldest of eight children to the late Kenneth and Verna Marie Arehart. Sharon attended the Hilldale Baptist Church. She worked as a nurse's aide and in housekeeping at several area hospitals. Sharon loved all things animals; she was always raising pups and loved to listen to her music.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Verna (James) Payton of Neosho, Missouri, and Laura Teal of Joplin, Missouri; three grandchildren, Courtney (Steven) Corbin of Neosho, Ashely Payton of Joplin, Travis Teal of Joplin; a great-granddaughter, Abrianna Corbin, a great grandson, Ethan Corbin; five brothers, Roger Arehart, Cecil Arehart, Jodi Arehart, Fred Arehart, Kenneth Ray Arehart; two sisters, Nancy Arehart, and Novita Arehart.

A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the Hilldale Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, from 5:30-6:30 P.M. at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.
