Virginia Ann (Edens) Barclay, 82, of Mustang, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully from this earth following a short illness on September 14, 2024, and arrived to the pearly gates of Heaven where Jesus embraced her homecoming.

She was born on October 20, 1941, in Neosho, Missouri to Omer and Lois Edens.  On August 11, 1962, Virginia married Dannie C. Barclay in Diamond, Missouri and were married for 41 years upon his death in 2003.  Virginia was a stay-at-home mom for several years, then worked for Mid-Del Public Schools, and the Oklahoma State Department of Human Services where she retired in 1994.  She was a Christian, faithful wife, mother, and grandma.

Virginia is survived by her children, Richard C. Barclay of Land O Lakes, Florida and Michelle L. Singleton (husband David) of Mustang, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Andrew M. Barclay, Zachary C. Barclay, Kaleigh A. Lemley (husband Mikey), and Lacey M. Singleton; one great grandchild Layne N. Barclay; three sisters, and other family members.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with services following on Friday, September 20 at 10:00 AM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow at Diamond Cemetery in Diamond, Missouri.
