Obituary written by the family of Wayne Arthur Scheppert.

Wayne Arthur Scheppert, age 92, Stark City passed away on June 29, 2024, at home surrounded by family. He was born June 7, 1932, in Jefferson, WI the son of the late Mary (Seeber) and Arthur Scheppert. He married Joyce Thoelke July 20, 1963. He owned and operated Scheppert Excavating in Oregon, WI until moving to rural Stark City, MO in the fall of 1973 to farm, run cattle and train horses. Wayne was a cowboy in every sense. He roped calves, team roped, and in the late years participated in cowboy mounted shooting. He is survived by his wife, Joyce and sons Wade and Ward (Crista) and daughter Kory Pritchard (Kevin). He is also survived by sister Marlene Braunschweig grandson Alexander Scheppert (Olivia), granddaughters Abigal Scheppert, and Juli Jones. Two Great grandchildren, Harper Fox Jones and Zuri Scheppert.  Niece, Jackie Olson (Shaun) and nephews Brad Braunschweig, Jim Bound (Lisa) and Jon Bound (Penny). Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jane Bound and brother in laws Jack Bound and Joel Braunschweig, sister Lois Holmes, daughter-in-law Jada Robbins-Scheppert, and nephew Brian Braunschweig.

Burial will be at the Wanda Cemetery following a private graveside service. Donations in Waynes name may be made to the Wanda Cemetery.
