Wilma "Nadyne" Doughty, aged 92, departed from this world on March 12, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born on December 22, 1931, to Raymond and Dossie Jarvis in Haskell, OK, and graduated from Haskell High School. Nadyne dedicated her career to cosmetology, where she used her skills to help others look and feel their best. She was a talented seamstress and quilter, finding joy and fulfillment in creating beautiful pieces of fabric art. Nadyne's faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the 1st Christian Church. On May 1, 1982, Nadyne found love and companionship with Claude Doughty, and they shared many years of happiness together until his passing on July 20, 2007. Nadyne's memory will be cherished by her children: Nedenia Forrest and husband Fred of Eagle Rock, MO; David Rowland and wife Rayma of Norwich, KS; and Frankie Rowland of Norwich, KS. She was also a beloved grandmother to four grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Nadyne is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Claude Doughty, and Troy Rowland.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Nadyne's life will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Arkansas. As we gather to bid farewell to Nadyne, may we find comfort in the memories we shared with her and the love she brought into our lives.
