John D. Jordon, III, went to be with His Lord and Saviour at 2:25 pm, March 30, 2015. John was born Nov. 16, 1956 in Neosho, Missouri, the son of John D. Jordon, II and Delsie Gideon Jordon. He was a lifelong area resident of Goodman and Granby and had served in the Army Reserves for eleven years. John owned and operated Jordon Tree Service for over 18 years. He loved to ride his Harley, was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their activities. He was a member of the Miracle Church of Granby. John married Patricia Pat' Kimmel on April 17, 1976 at Carl Junction, MO and she survives. Also surviving are four children, Wayne Jordon and wife, Janice of Granby; John Jordon and wife, Cheri of Neosho; Michelle Moore and husband, Daniel of Neosho and Jamey Jordon and wife, Kathy of Neosho; three sisters, Joyce Adams of Goodman; Jearldine Wright of Joplin and Jolene Edens of Joplin and thirteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Myers.
