Charles Lloyd Carver, 76, Pierce City, Missouri, entered into rest on May 23, 2021 in Joplin, following a short illness.  Charles was born March 11, 1945 in Wentworth, Missouri, the son of Loren E. and Arlena (Reynolds) Carver.  He was a lifelong area resident and had worked for Burlington Northern RR and B and B Carpenter, retiring in 2005.  He enjoyed riding horses, making knives and creating things.  Charles and Barbara (Reed) were married on March 8, 1962 in Ritchey and she survives.  In addition to his wife of 59 years, he is survived by three children, Frank (Judy) Carver of Pierce City, Jim (Dana) Carver of Carthage and Nancy (Bryan) Heilig of Pierce City; daughter-in-law, Sherry Carver of Oklahoma; two sisters, Carol Jones and Marge Holland, both of Wentworth, Missouri; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, Mike Carver, his parents, one brother, Kenny Carver and two sisters, Mable and Francis.
