Dan started in the ambulance service, a division of the funeral home, at that time. Upon graduation from Mortuary school in Kansas City, he continued working his way up through the business, eventually purchasing the firm in 2020, alongside his wife, Tina, following the Bigham and Clark families. As a licensed funeral director and embalmer, Dan works in all areas of the business.
Dan and Tina Bussey formed a partnership, developing lifelong relationships and friendships in their endeavor to serve others in the community. Tina is a licensed funeral director, serves as pre-arrangement & trust management, life insurance, grief recovery, and founded Widow to Widow with Sue Clark. She is also actively involved in the design of cemetery monuments and markers, an area in which she enjoys assisting families. Tina currently serves on the Newton County Mental Health Board and the Neosho School District Charitable Foundation. She is a member and Past President of Chapter JO P.E.O. and the Neosho Fortnightly Study Club. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
Dan is a member of the Rotary Club of Neosho. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, snow skiing, and Table Rock Lake.
Their daughter, Sarah, resides in NW Arkansas with her husband, Matt, and their three sons, Lance, Grayson, and Jackson.

Blake T Hierholzer, the son of Dan & Tina Hierholzer, represents the sixth generation in the firm, learning from his parents, grandparents, and uncle while growing up in the firm. A graduate of Neosho High School, then continued his education at Crowder College in Neosho, afterwards obtaining his bachelor's degree in Fayetteville, AR. Blake is a graduate of the Kansas City Kansas School of Mortuary Science.
He currently serves as president of the Neosho Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Springfield, Missouri, and is a member of GROW Neosho. He is past president of the Rotary Club of Neosho and the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce.

Blake T Hierholzer, the son of Dan & Tina Hierholzer, represents the sixth generation in the firm, learning from his parents, grandparents, and uncle while growing up in the firm.
